Pelvic Floor Therapy in Palm Desert.
You were told to do your Kegels. To rest it. To wait and see if it settles on its own. Fifteen minutes in a shared room with an aide counting your reps is not an evaluation. Here you get a full hour with a Doctor of Physical Therapy who does the exam, the hands-on work and the plan themselves. California is a direct access state, so you can start without a referral.

13 years in practice, and the same hands on you every visit.
Most clinics run three or four patients at once, hand you off to an aide, then send you home with the same printout as everyone else. That is scheduling, not treatment. Dr. Sarah Hare is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and the only clinician here, which means the doctor-level evaluation, the hands-on work, the plan and the re-tests are all theirs. California is a direct access state, so you can book without waiting on a physician referral.

What patients say
when nobody edits it.
These pull live from the practice's Google profile, in the words the patients used. Some had been dismissed elsewhere, some had been handed a Kegel sheet and sent home. Read what changed for them.
Care built around what is actually happening in your body.

Bladder & Bowel Dysfunction
Leakage, urgency, retention, or constipation. These are muscle and coordination problems, and they are treatable.

Pelvic Organ Prolapse
Heaviness, pressure, or a bulge that gets worse as the day goes on. Prolapse responds to targeted pelvic floor work.

Back Pain & Sciatica
The most common reason people call us. We find the driver, whether it is the disc, the hip, or the pelvic floor.

Hip & Knee Pain
Weight-bearing joints rarely fail alone. We treat the joint and the mechanics feeding it.
Four phases, so you always know where you are.
Pain
First we get the pain out of the driver's seat. Hands-on work on the joints and soft tissue that are guarding, breathing that lets a clenched pelvic floor let go, and movement dosed low enough that your body stops bracing against it.
Prime
Then we rebuild what the pain took. Range of motion, coordination, and timing. A pelvic floor learns to relax as well as contract. A hip that quietly stopped moving starts moving again, and the compensation above it settles.
Perform
Load goes back on, on purpose and in order. Lifting your toddler, sitting through a workday, the hike you gave up, running without planning around a bathroom. Whatever you stopped doing gets trained until it holds.
Prevent
You leave knowing what set this off and what to do the first time it whispers again. A home program short enough that you will actually keep it, and a door that stays open if something changes.

Whoever evaluates you is who treats you, through discharge.
Nothing gets handed off here, because there is nobody to hand it to. Dr. Hare knows your case cold, remembers what your left hip did three weeks ago, and does not need you to retell your history to a new face. You never repeat yourself, you never share the hour, and progress builds visit on visit instead of resetting.
Care at the clinic, built around your life.
Care happens at the clinic on El Paseo in Palm Desert. Your evaluation maps how your body actually moves and why the pain keeps coming back, then the plan gets built around your life: the toddler you lift, the workday you sit through, the trail you miss.

One clinician. You will know exactly who is treating you.

This is a self-pay practice, so there is no insurance to check first. Tell us what's going on and we will tell you plainly whether it's a good fit and what a visit costs, in writing, before anything goes on the calendar.
Your paperwork comes to you.
Nothing to hunt down or print. Once you book, your forms are emailed to you, and if you would rather finish them on arrival you can do that on a tablet. Either way your first visit starts with treatment, not a clipboard.

One hour. One therapist. Every single visit.
No aides. No double-booked rooms. No printout handed to you on the way out. Every session is one on one with Dr. Sarah Hare.
All of it, under one clinician.

A program, not guesswork.
Every plan runs on the four phases and gets re-tested against what your body could do on day one, so you are never guessing whether it is working. Breath is part of the work, not a warm-up: Dr. Hare is a certified RYT 200 yoga instructor and uses breathwork to teach a guarded pelvic floor and a braced ribcage how to let go. When something is not moving, the plan changes instead of repeating.

Answers before you even ask.
No. California is a direct access state, which means you can book physical therapy directly without a physician referral. This is a self-pay practice, so there is no insurance authorization to wait on either. You can start as soon as you are ready.
No. This is a self-pay practice, so no insurance is billed. You get your rate in writing before your first visit, so there is nothing to guess at and no bill that shows up later with a different number on it.
Most people notice something change in the first few visits, often less pain or a little more control. Whether the plan is working is usually clear within two to three weeks. Your progress is measured out loud at each visit, so you are never guessing, and if something is not moving we change the plan rather than repeating it.
